Prosecco Serre Lebanon

Frequently Asked Questions:
Understanding Premium Prosecco

What is "Heroic Viticulture" and why is it important?

Heroic viticulture refers to grape growing in extreme conditions, such as the steep hills of Combai where machinery cannot operate. Every vine must be cultivated and harvested entirely by hand. This demanding process results in lower yields but exceptional quality, as each vine receives individual attention.

Prosecco Superiore DOCG is Italy’s highest quality classification and comes exclusively from the strictly regulated hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. Unlike flat vineyard zones, these steep, hand-cultivated hills produce a Prosecco with more finesse, minerality, and structure.

Yes, sustainability is a core commitment for us. Our vineyards are managed without chemically synthesized fertilizers, chemical mowing, or drip irrigation. We hold internationally recognized certifications including SQNPI, BRCGS, IFS, and Equalitas.

Most of our Prosecco varieties are best served at a temperature of $6-8^{\circ}C$. We recommend gently uncorking the bottle just before serving to preserve the fine and persistent perlage.

Absolutely. High-quality Prosecco is designed to accompany food. Its natural freshness and balanced acidity make it an ideal match for Mediterranean dishes, seafood, and the shared, social nature of Lebanese dining.
